Cabinet Refinish!

Okay, so my very first blog post is going to be about my cabinet. I have this really awesome cabinet that I have had since my husband & I started dating...I inherited it from him. Well, I have been using it as a curio, in spite of disliking the color of the stain on the wood. So, now that my business has begun to really take off, I need some space for organizing my materials. This shelf is absolutely perfect for just that. It has 4 large shelves & really pretty glass doors. I have decided that I am going to paint it white. The room that it is in has other white furniture and the fabric that is going to be used in that room goes with the white furniture. So here are a couple of pictures of the cabinet so far. I had to paint it with the doors on since they absolutely would not come out. It really hasn't been an issue since I am using spray paint. It gets in all the little crevices really well. I have already applied 2 coats of Kilz (4 spray cans) & 2 coats Krylon flat white paint (4 cans). I need to get 4 more cans because it really needs 2 more coats of paint. Then it will get sanded and clear coated with a sealer. Of course I will be sanding between coats that way I am sure to get an Ultra Smooth finish. I will post more pictures as I finish it.
